3.8.20 Prairie Bluegrass - St. John's UMC

A fun, toe-tapping potpourri of tunes celebrating the prairie lands, and the uniquely American genre of roots music we call bluegrass. The concert opens with songs of the prairies including Ēriks Ešenvalds’ Ancient Prairie and Morton Lauridsen’s Sure on this Shining Night, followed by a selection of traditional spiritual anthems. We’ll finish the concert with a rousing set of bluegrass tunes, joined by a local bluegrass band.
